I was totally planning on the Ken Woods Memorial race today until our lovely MN Spring weather showed up. I like to road race a little but I'm not dedicated enough to suffer through temps of 35 degrees and light snow (yes snow). Last time I did the race in 2005 it was pouring rain, cold, and I flatted at the end of the first lap. I'm not taking it as an omen or anything but I just am not willing to take the time, spend the money, and burn one of my race "matches" to go do that today.
On a happier note, it is the PCR open house today. I'm excited to get my new black kit and meet the new line up of peeps this year. Plus some beer afterwards.
