I get so sick of hearing uninformed, obviously unconnected radio personalities, co-workers, and other random out of shape people complain about how cyclists where tight fitting lycra. "Why do they have to do that?" one radio DJ said. Friggin idiot. Why do swimmers wear speedos? Why do track stars wear basically a loose speedo? Why to Runners take their shirts off to run? Why to hunters wear camo? Why do radio DJs comment about crap they have no idea about?
I think you all know the real answer--cause it looks sexy and we'd wear it to parties and work and on dates if only the shorts were a little longer.
